The American Dream

The American Dream is the idea that all people can success through hardwork. People have changed the definition to the American Dream but now it is taking lots of criticism. The idea of the American Dream is older than the US as it dates back to the 1600s. People were starting to motivate themselevs to mostly own more land and for prosperous businesses. As well as motivating people it also plays a role in the fact that Americans are a classless society even though they are not. The realistic vision of the American Dream also assumes that people aren't discriminating others. Critics to the American Dream say that versions of the American can make happiness not seem so simple. Today anyone who completes their version of the American Dream is known as "living the dream". The main idea though of the American Dream is about potential and hope to change something.
